This Privacy Policy describes how BeatMarket Oy (registration number 3315192-1, PL 764, 00101 Helsinki, Finland) — "we", "us" — collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use MaxDividends AI (the "Service").
1. What we collect
Account data. When you sign up through our authentication provider (Clerk), we receive your email address and, optionally, your name and profile photo.
Conversation data. We store the messages you send to MaxDividends AI and the replies generated in response, so you can revisit them and we can improve the service.
Usage data. Aggregated metadata about API calls, model tokens, errors, and timing. This is used for billing, abuse prevention, and product analytics.
Payment data. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We receive a customer identifier, subscription status, and the last four digits of the card. We do not store full card numbers.
Cookies. Essential cookies are used to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. Why we process it
- to deliver the Service (chat, subscriptions, authentication);
- to prevent fraud, abuse, and service overload;
- to comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting);
- to send essential service notifications to your email.
Our legal bases under the GDPR are (i) performance of our agreement with you, (ii) legitimate interests in running a secure service, and (iii) consent, where applicable.
3. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with vetted processors acting on our behalf:
- Clerk — authentication;
- Stripe — payments and subscriptions;
- Neon — database hosting (EU/US);
- Vercel — application hosting;
- OpenAI / LLM providers — model inference (your prompts and chat history are sent to the provider to generate a reply).
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers.
4. Where data is stored
Primary database and hosting are in the United States. When you access the Service from the European Union, your data is transferred under Standard Contractual Clauses with the processors listed above.
5. How long we keep it
Account and conversation data are kept for as long as your account exists, plus a short grace period after deletion for backups. Usage logs are retained for up to 24 months. Billing records are retained for 7 years to satisfy Finnish accounting law.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and equivalent laws you can:
- request a copy of your personal data;
- request correction or deletion;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.

7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
8. Changes
We will post material changes here and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept it.
